Blue Lagoon is on Cola ("Khola") Beach in the Canacona district of South Goa. We are one of the quietest beaches in Goa, and a little difficult to find the first time you visit. Finding us is worth it though! Please read the travel information below.

The last 2.4 km / 1.5 miles to Blue Lagoon is down a bumpy offroad dirt track, which is narrow and winding in places. This track takes you from the main road at Cola Village to the resort on Cola Beach. There are various options for reaching us - driving yourself, using our taxis, using a combination of your own transport and our track taxi, hiking (e.g. from Agonda) or coming by scooter/bike down the shortcut track and walking part of the way or coming by boat taxi.

Free Parking

Free parking is available in three places.

1. Parking at Cola Village (at the start of the track)
   You can park at the main road in Cola Village by the Cola Village Panchayat Office / State Bank of India. There is a large parking space here, at the entrance to the track. If you want to park here, you will need to pre-book our Track Taxi to meet you there and take you down the track to the resort (see below).
2. Parking at Cola Beach (at the resort, at the end of the track)
   If you drive down the track between Cola Village and Cola Beach, you will reach the second carpark at the end of the track above the beach. Walk down some steps and you are in the resort.
3. For scooter/bike or hiking
   Read about the alternative shortcut track. This leaves you some distance from the resort and is only suitable if your bags are light enough to carry down a hill.

Coming by Taxi or Track Taxi

1. Booking a taxi transfer with Blue Lagoon:
   We offer a taxi transfer service 24 hours a day for pick up from most places in Goa. Please book your taxi in advance. Our taxis bring you the full way to Blue Lagoon. The prices include taking you down the offroad track between Cola Village and Cola Beach.
2. Booking a Track Taxi:
   If you want to make your own way to Cola Village, we can send a track taxi to meet you there (300 to 600 Rs depending on number of guests and time of day). We need at least 30 minutes to coordinate it for you - please tell us in advance. Track taxis are normally only available between 8am morning and 10pm evening. If you will need one outside these hours, please talk to us at least a day in advance.
3. Coming by outside taxi:
   Outside taxis are unlikely to take you down the track. They will leave you at Cola Village. You will need to book a track taxi with us to come down the track. Please tell us at least 30 minutes in advance so we have time to arrange the track taxi to meet you there.

Arrivals at night

If you are arriving at night, you must tell us in advance. Please use our taxis if arriving after dark: the resort is difficult to find at night. The last mile of track is unlit. Your journey will be faster, cheaper and easier if your book our taxis.

Check-in time to room is 12 midday. We recommend that guests arriving overnight book the room for the night before arrival, so you can go straight to your room.
